Visiting from Illinois. Stopped in for breakfast. The service was fast and food delicious! The staff was very friendly. The owner even came over and greeted us and visited for a few minutes! The atmosphere was chill-would be a good place to sit and visit, study, or just relax. Very good experience! Highly recommend!
Y’all this is a must try!! The owners are the sweetest couple, the drinks are great and the food is so good! 10/10 recommend. We had the red velvet cappuccino, mimosas (Moscow mule and Hawaiian) and the loaded waffle browns!
My husband brought me to the Golden Waffle Company in Amarillo a few years ago, it was nice but we hadn’t been back & we were in town today so he said let’s try that waffle place again. Let me tell you the minute we walked in we were greeted with the kindest smile and soul of this sweet woman, stood in line for a bit because it was busy but it wasn’t a bad wait at all and the staff did amazing and trying to clear seats for everyone very fast. The staff at the register and entire place were just upbeat, happy, & great at their job! The staff made it for me & I knew this would be my favorite place, but then looking at the menu I was amazed at all the cool/fun options and it was hard to decide what to order but what I did order was absolutely amazing. Best breakfast food I’ve had to date hands down. & the coffee, oh I’m so sad that we don’t live in Amarillo to be able to come get their coffee and food all the time. & the price was great! Anyways, long story but we realized it was new ownership, they had signs that said 1 year anniversary, you can definitely tell a 100% difference in atmosphere and food because I didn’t really remember the experience eating here from a few years back, I don’t remember it being bad, but it wasn’t amazing for me to remember and ask to come back. But I will remember today’s experience (good enough to want to take the time to go on Google and write a review) We will be back when we visit Amarillo again!
Tasty food and super friendly staff. The owner even greeted us at our table and made us feel welcomed. Loved the waffle hash browns and French toast. Also, the iced chai was delicious.
Omgosh this place was so incredibly good and so nice!!!! I got the fat Elvis without chocolate.......PERFECT! I ordered the maple latte’ UGH to die for!!! The owners work so hard and kept checking on us. The people taking orders also couldn’t be nicer!!! Def worth a visit!
It’s been over a year since my last visit, and I’m blown away by the changes! The updated menu is fantastic, and the waffles are absolutely wonderful—everything you’d hope for, I also had the French toast and it was perfect. The staff is as friendly and attentive as ever, making the whole experience even better. If you haven’t been to Golden Waffle in a while, now is the perfect time to come back and see what you’ve been missing!
We loved everything about this place! Even though it was busy the food came out fast. It was all fresh and the drip coffee was excellent! Owner came over to ask how everything was more than once. If this was in our town I would eat there every weekend!!
We come here most weekends and this place never disappoints. The food is delicious, they have so many good options for people with dietary restrictions. The employees are all so kind and thoughtful, they remember my coffee order and make sure it’s right every time. The owners are so insanely friendly, I always say we feel like family when we’re here. Can’t recommend it enough!
